Beginner: Avanti Park

A beginners’ terrain park on Vail Mountain, Avanti Park is the perfect spot to begin learning tricks. Find this snowy playground near the lower part of the Avanti Express Lift. Here, you can safely get comfortable with smaller leaps and turns. Work your way through the gradual progression of features, so you can build confidence and skill incrementally.

Intermediate: Bwana Park

An intermediate challenge for those who know their way around features, Bwana Park is the place to go to level up. Located between the Eagle Bahn and Born Free Express gondolas, this park has a mid-size jump line, and larger bumps and ramps to navigate and build up your skills. For support with improving your moves safely, consider a ski or snowboard lesson with an expert.

Expert: Golden Peak

Golden Peak is Vail’s largest terrain park, found beneath the Riva Bahn Express Lift. This advanced-level park has tons of thrill-filled features, including a jump line that challenges even the most-seasoned skiers and riders. Its diverse selection of medium to large rails, jibs and boxes attract expert skiers and snowboarders — including many of Colorado’s elite winter athletes. While it offers some small jumps and beginner rollers and berms, this park is considered one of the more challenging terrain sections on Vail Mountain.
