Designed and built by one of Vail’s pioneers, Ben Krueger, in 1962, Vail’s course continues to be thought of by many as one of the best courses in the Vail Valley — a must-play among locals and guests alike.
The Vail Golf Course opens May 27, 2022 (weather permitting). The course typically closes early/mid October, weather dependent.
Once the golf course is blanketed with snow, it serves as Vail’s Nordic Center during the winter months, offering 17 kilometers of groomed ski track and 10 kilometers of separate snowshoe trails.
