Explore the vibrant Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. It’s not just a garden; it’s a hands-on learning experience for your little ones. Think colorful flowers, scenic water features, and butterfly releases – a must-visit for the whole family!
 

2. On-Mountain Outdoor Activities:

Vail Mountain offers hikes for all skill levels. If you are feeling adventurous, hike from the base to the summit on one of Vail’s many hiking-only trails. At the top, check out Epic Discovery interactive installations or visit the Nature Center to learn about local wildlife from a Vail Naturalist. Get the adrenaline pumping with a an Adventure Pass, and take a ride on the Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster, bungee Trampoline and so much more.
 

3. Vail Village Parks, Fountains, and Playgrounds:

Vail village is famous for its safety and pedestrian-friendly villages. Let your kids splash in the public fountains or meet new friends playing in the multiple parks and playgrounds. Best of all, there are plenty of restaurant patios nearby where parents can grab a drink or a snack while the little ones enjoy the playground. 
 

4. Family-Friendly Hiking and Biking

The whole family can enjoy Vail on two feet or two wheels. You’ll find plenty of trails suitable for all ages and skill levels. Load your bike onto the Gondola for a downhill day or enjoy a more scenic pedal along the paved recreation path that follows the river from East Vail to West Vail. Take a hiking trail right out of Vail Village or take the free bus to see beautiful waterfall and wildflower trails. Whatever adventure you are looking for, you are sure to find it here.
