Explore Art Galleries in Vail Village & Lionshead
Vail’s art galleries spotlight everything from finely detailed landscape paintings to colorful abstract works and striking nature photography. Handcrafted Jewelry
Vail’s jewelry shops celebrate sparkly pieces with a distinct alpine edge. The Golden Bear crafts iconic gold bear bracelets and pendants, a symbol worn by generations of locals and visitors. J. Cotter Gallery sculpts bold, unconventional pieces in-house — oxidized silver rings, brushed metal cuffs and wearable art that blurs the line between fashion and sculpture. Squash Blossom showcases seasonal collections from emerging craftspeople, spotlighting hand-set gems and turquoise, forged silver and mixed-metal work. See our expanded list of Vail jewelers below.
See Vail’s Iconic Public Art as You Gallery Hop
As you explore galleries and wander the cobblestone streets of Vail, you’ll spot more than 60 pieces featured in the Art in Public Places (AIPP) program. The collection includes everything from a bronze sculpture of Albert Einstein relaxing on a bench to colorful birdhouse installations and a pirate-themed playground. Since 2019, the program has also highlighted work by Colorado muralists. Look for Olive Moya’s bold geometric designs at the Vail Village Transportation Center and Pedro Barrios and Jaime Molina’s abstract mural in Lionshead Village, which represents healing with humankind. Use the Art in Vail interactive map or join a seasonal Art Walk to discover the stories behind the artwork.
