Enjoy this free one-hour tour with the Art in Public Places Coordinator through Vail Village. Meet at 11:00 a.m. at the Vail Village Welcome Center on the top level of the Vail Village parking structure the first and third Wednesdays, January 4 – April 5, 2023.
The tour winds its way through the Village with discussions of the history of the Vail Valley, the founding of Vail mountain, the master planning of the Village, and the importance of site-specific art.
The tour includes a visit to the 16th Annual Vail Winterfest Ice & Light Installation along the Gore Creek Promenade. Plus four recently installed sculptures as a part of a gift from the contemporary collection of Vicki and Kent Logan to the Town of Vail.
