The patriotic spirit is stronger than ever in Vail as we welcome guests back to the mountains! This year’s Vail America Days™ will look different with a modern twist on the traditional parade everyone knows and loves.
The Town of Vail is excited to feature some incredible patriotic exhibits, on-the-move musicians and other surprises from Vail Village to Lionshead on Saturday, July 4. While visiting Vail’s shops and restaurants, take time to stroll through town and enjoy the curated displays embracing this year’s theme: Stronger Together.

Fireworks Display
A 10-minute fireworks show is planned for 9:45 p.m. Saturday, July 4th (conditions permitting). Below are options for viewing the show while respecting public health orders:
- Option One – Watch from home and be ‘Safer at Home’ and ‘Protect Our Neighbors’ by streaming the event live complete with the patriotic soundtrack from High Five Access Media at https://www.highfivemedia.org/live-five or on local cable TV Channel 5.
- Option Two – Watch from your car; utilize the Ford Park parking lot, Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures and frontage roads. No parking along I-70.
- Option Three – Watch from where you are; watch from your hotel, condo or home
- Option Four – Watch from limited capacity-controlled viewing zones located at Lionshead lawn, Mountain Plaza lawn, base of Golden Peak
