Join the 8th annual SHIFRUNS, a 20-run ski/snowboard challenge held annually on Vail Mountain in Colorado, in memory of Brian G. Shifrin. Brian fought his ALS battle for 2.5 years with strength, peace, humor and Billy Joel. SHIFRUNS was created by his sister, Pam Shifrin (a Vail local), in hopes to create ALS awareness and raise money to help with his care.
Every year, participants hit the slopes at their own pace, wherever they choose on Vail Mountain. Steady’s Deck, just west of the top of chair 2(Avanti), is the homebase. Feel free to leave things there, come back to rest, or enjoy complimentary Village Bagel bagels, snacks and drinks! We are proud to tell you that we are 100% run by volunteers and all proceeds from this event go directly to supporting ALS warriors and research.
Following skiing, continue fundraising efforts with an Après party at Cucina from 4pm – 7pm.
