Already on the hunt, but stumped?
Stop reading below, unless you’re stumped at one of the clues and don’t know where to go next. This will give away the location!
Clue 1
Pirate Ship Park is located near the base of Gondola One in Vail Village. Pirate ship
park and all other playgrounds in Vail are custom designed by the Town of Vail. Many have
been built by the Town’s carpentry shop.
Clue 2
Kringle Crossing is the Town of Vail’s holiday village located on Willow Bridge
Road, between Gore Creek Drive and Meadow Drive. The next clue is on the side of the
large yellow and brown lodge which was inspired by Pepi’s Gasthoff Gramshammer Hotel.
Clue 3
This stop is at the Vail Gondola Cabin that is on the south side of the Covered
Bridge. This gondola cabin is an authentic cabin that came from Vail’s 2nd gondola.
Clue 4
At the entrance to Lionshead Village you will find this 1964 Ford Pumper Fire
Truck. This truck served the Town of Vail Fire Department in the 1970’s and beyond.
Clue 5
At the top of the stairs above the Arrabelle Ice Rink you will find Sunbird Park. This
fun playground was designed to resemble birds nests.
For more adventures, head to the Betty Ford Alpine Garden at Ford Park. The Gardens, in
collaboration with Art in Public Places and Eagle County Schools, has installed another fun
exhibit. Go on an Yeti hunt and explore the beauty of the gardens.
