The winter holidays are a magical time of year in Vail, with complimentary outdoor, socially distanced programs and activities for all ages

The Vail Holiday festivities start early December and last through New Year’s Eve. There is something for all ages and with a mix of stay-in family experiences and small celebrations with the utmost safety in mind.

Community lantern exhibition
Daily starting December 14, International Bridge, Vail Village
As part of Vail Winterfest, visit the exhibition of nearly 100 lanterns created by local students over the past several months.

December 20 – January 30, Gore Creek Promenade, Vail Village

New Years Eve Fireworks
Look to the sky on New Years Eve for our two fireworks shows. The main show will take place at 6:00 pm. A shorter late show will take place at 10:00 pm.
