Winter Paid Parking
Paid parking in Vail Village, Lionshead, Red Sandstone Garage, Ford Park Lot, and the Soccer Lot will be in effect from Nov. 14, 2025, through April 19, 2026. Retail or drive-up rates at the Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures will be $10 per hour, with the first hour free, and will max out at $50 on peak days and $30 on non-peak days. Red Sandstone Garage, Ford Park, and the Soccer Lot will offer free parking for up to two hours, with a $10 day rate on non-peak days and a $20 day rate on peak days.

- Overnight parking in Vail Village & Lionshead structures: $60 and $35 at the Red Sandstone Garage.
- Oversized vehicles (RVs/Trailers) park on N. Frontage Road in West Vail: $60 per 24 hours (max 5 days)
Winter Free Parking
Free parking is available all season for up to one hour in the Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures, and for up to two hours at Red Sandstone Garage, Ford Park, and the Soccer Lots.
- Short stays/drop-offs: Use Village structure’s top deck or Lionshead’s East Lionshead Circle.
- Evening parking: Free if entering after 3 p.m. until 4 a.m. (Entries between 1–3 p.m. incur charges).
- Overflow parking: Allowed only when both structures are full when signs indicate (South Frontage Road).
Frontage Road Overflow Parking
When Village & Lionshead structures are full, free parking is allowed on South Frontage Road until 11 p.m. Do not block driveways or intersections (50 ft. clearance). No parking from Main Vail roundabout to Vail Valley Drive for safety and bike traffic.
Donovan Park
Free day parking is available with vehicle registration by scanning the QR code on the ParkMobile signs displayed around the lot. The location provides free bus service into Vail Village and Lionshead Village and is located at 1600 S. Frontage Rd. W. Periodic day-parking restrictions may occur based on events at Donovan Pavilion; event dates can be viewed in advance on the Event Parking Calendar. Overnight parking is not permitted between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Electric Vehicle Charging Staging
To accommodate the growing demand for electric vehicle charging capacity, 10 multi-port Level 2 electric vehicle ChargePoint charging stations are available (6 in the Vail Village Parking Structure, 1 in the Lionshead Parking Structure, and 1 on level 1, 2, and 3 of Red Sandstone Garage).
