Colorado Snowsports Museum
Explore the priceless artifacts that tell the story of the birth, rise and explosion of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado. Immerse yourself in the stories of our sport, preserving the legacy of those involved in various stages and aspects of the skiing and snowboarding industry.
The museum is open daily 11am – 5pm and is located on the 3rd level of the Vail Village Parking Structure adjacent to Vail Village Covered Bridge. Admission is free for all, and donations are greatly appreciated
TAKE A HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR OF VAIL!
The rich and often colorful history of Vail Village comes alive as the Snowsports Museum offers its popular walking tour of Vail Village. Starting at the museum, the one-hour tour gets underway at 11 a.m. and is just $5 per person. Summer season tours are offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Winter season tours are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays. Guests are encouraged to contact the museum in advance at (970) 476-1876 to secure a spot on the tour.
