Stoke Sessions | Runaway Grooms

Event Details

STOKE SESSIONS | Live Music every Friday for the first month of the ski season in Vail along with Vail’s vibrant food and beverage scene will be front and center with local favorites including El Segundo, Yama Sushi, Root & Flower, Two Arrows, and the Sitzmark.  To mark the occasion, Vail Brewing Company is crafting a limited-release Stoke Sessions IPA, available exclusively during the concert series.

THIS WEEK | Much like the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, and the Grateful Dead, The Runaway Grooms paint a spacious soundscape that expands in ever-widening circles, inviting us into warm, enveloping musical landscapes that traverse jazz, rock, and folk. For many years, Colorado has been the birthplace for a myriad of unique musical gems and The Runaway Grooms are no exception. The Band’s classic sound is a refreshing take on contemporary jam band music, because although they jam, they still celebrate the authenticity and wholesomeness of traditional American roots music through their songwriting, lyricism and instrumentation. Staying true to their name, this ‘band on the run’ is creating a buzz in a variety of musical communities around the country. The band has shared bills with nationally renowned and Grammy nominated artists like Umphrey’s McGee, Robben Ford, Leftover Salmon, Twiddle, Dogs In A Pile, Eggy, Tea Leaf Green, Trombone Shorty, JJ Grey and Mofro, Daniel Danoto, The Greyboy Allstars and many more.

Opening this week is Almost Utah.
