Meet the Raptors | Winterfest

As part of Art in Public Places Vail Winterfest, join the Raptor Education Foundation to learn more about owls. Visit with these stealthy raptors of the night, learning about their unique adaptions for hunting and survival. This event is suitable for all ages, with a presentation. Don’t forget to bring your camera!  

The 18^th Annual Vail Winterfest – Night Owls  is an interactive ice sculpture installation opens January 2025 featuring six larger than life ice sculptures resembling owls on the Gore Creek Promenade, located by the International Bridge in Vail Village.  Night Owls will be illuminated at dusk and listen carefully you may even hear a few calling! It is anticipated to be on view through mid-February.
