New Greens Opening, Adult and Junior Clinics Information
Beginning Friday, June 5:
- We will have all 18 holes open with the newly sodded greens on holes 3, 4, 13, 16, and 17. We are very excited with how quickly these new greens grew in and we will have all regulation greens open on Friday!
- All golfers must check in for their tee time in the golf shop.
- Cloth face coverings are required for the golf shop.
- Golfers may arrive up to 30 minutes before their reserved tee time.
- Range balls for warm up will be $5 per basket.
- Reservations are required for the driving range. Range for a 30-minute session is $10.
- Reminder for passholders – tee times may be made anytime during early season.
- Restrictions for tee time reservations will take place in peak season beginning June 26.

Junior Golf Clinics
Weekly Offerings:

*Limited participation
- Adapted PGA Junior League ($15, limit 12)
- For players who were planning on joining the VGC Junior League team for the 2020 season or players who have considered joining PGA Junior League in the past.
- Players will be paired according to skill level and will play in Junior League format.
- Format: Two-Person Scramble
- First 12 players to sign up
- Must have parent or guardian accompanying the group
- Monday afternoons starting June 22 and ending August 24 with tee times beginning at 2 p.m.
- Vail Golf Club Weekly Junior Clinics ($20, limit four per one-hour session)
- Aimed for players who are looking for an introduction to the game or those who are looking to improve in a fun, educational environment. Each clinic will have a topic to cover and a fun activity to help the kids better learn the topic.
- Beginning Junior Golf Camp – Wednesday afternoons starting June 24 and ending August 26 beginning at 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00 p.m.
- Intermediate Junior Golf Camp – Thursday afternoons starting June 25 and ending August 28 beginning at 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00 p.m.
- Advanced Junior Golf Camp – Friday afternoons starting June 26 and ending August 28 beginning at 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00 p.m.
- First Tee Intermediate Junior Golf Camps ($99, limit 12)
- Intermediate camps will include etiquette, fitness, snag golf, short game and full swing, as well as more techniques.
- Dates: July 14-16, July 21-23
- Time: 9 to 11 a.m.
COVID-19 Blue Phase Vail Golf Club Protocols
- Tee times must be made in advance online at vailgolf.com or by calling the golf shop at 479-2260.
- All season passes must be purchased in advance at vailgolf.com.
- We are only accepting credit cards for payment.
- We will limit the numbers of people in the golf shop to four (4) at a time to adhere to social distancing rules.
- Bunker rakes, water coolers, ball washers and trash cans have been removed from the course. Coolers, towels, tees, sand bottles, scorecards and pencils are removed from the carts and push carts.
- Modified cups on the course are in play so the flagstick is not to be touched.
- Walking is encouraged as carts are limited.
- Locker rooms and restrooms in the clubhouse are closed, however the restrooms at the starter building and on course will be available.
- The starter building has food and drinks available for purchase.
- Social distancing protocols will be required while visiting and playing the Vail Golf Club. Golfers who choose not to follow social distancing protocols will be asked to leave the property.
- Early season conditions exist with 18 holes open. We have five temporary greens on holes 3, 4, 13, 16 and 17.
- Following play, all golfers must leave the property, no congregating in the finish area or parking lot.
