(Vail, Colo.) – Registration for Vail Recreation District summer camps is now open as of Monday, March 7 at 8 a.m. Don’t wait to sign up online as most camps fill quickly! You will need to make an account on our new registration system, Amilia, if you have not done so already.
In addition to summer camps, registration is open for trail running races and whitewater races (mountain bike race registration coming soon). You can also now purchase summer passes for tennis and pickleball, so you will be all set when the courts open for play! If you are interested in buying a pass to the Vail Golf Club, golf passes will go on sale May 1.

VRD Summer Day Camps*
Camp Vail, Pre Kamp Vail, Camp Eco Fun and LEGO Camp
*Important note about day camp paperwork: If you have not yet completed your 2022 Summer Camp Paperwork Application, you will see that you are unable to shop for Camp Vail, Pre Kamp Vail, Camp Eco Fun or LEGO Camp. You can find the paperwork here. Choose 2022 Summer Camp Paperwork Application and complete the required form on behalf of your child(ren) when you check out (current customers will see this form is nearly complete already). VRD staff will review the form, notify you of any necessary additions or changes, and then give you the credential to unlock registration (skill) as soon as possible. You will then be able to shop for summer day camps.
Extreme Camp Vail will open once the schedule is established. Sign up for our “Youth Programs” email list if you want to be notified when registration is open. Your Camp Vail paperwork “skill” will allow you to register for Extreme Camp Vail.
VRD Summer Sports Camps
Mountain biking, baseball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, lacrosse, sports training, basketball, cheerleading, flag football, tennis, pickleball, golf, gymnastics and hockey. Please note that there is no additional paperwork required for sports camps.
2022 Dynafit Vail Trail Running Series
Colorado’s longest-operating trail running series, the Vail trail races have become iconic annual events. Courses take runners up mountains, through forests and over streams in and around Vail. Races are open to ages 13 and up.

Sat, Sept 17: Dynafit Town of Minturn Meadowgold 10K and 5K, 9 a.m. in Minturn
2022 Eagle River Water & Sanitation District Vail Whitewater Race Series
These exciting and spectator-friendly races are divided into three categories including kayak (under 9’6”), two-person raft, and stand-up paddleboard, with different course challenges every week. Races take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from May 10-June 7 (five events total).
Tennis and Pickleball Passes
Buy your summer passes now and be ready to enjoy a summer of play at the Bill Wright Tennis Center and the Golden Peak Pickleball Center! Season passes offer complimentary court time as well as discounts on clinics and programs.
