An established Vail jewelry store since the 1970s, Karats Vail is a local landmark and has been in its current location in Vail Village for decades. Karats features the signature organic style of its owner, jeweler Dan Telleen, who meets with clients and creates on site. Part workshop and part showroom, the Karats store has the inspired feel of an artist’s studio while also featuring one-of-a-kind necklaces, bracelets, rings and other accessories. Karats Vail also showcases the work of other well-known jewelers, and its trunk shows make it possible to shop for a variety of styles in one place — or to stop in simply for the pleasure of seeing what’s new.
