Park at the Vail Village parking structure to begin your walk to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. If you have time, be sure to check out the Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame.

Founded in 1975 and located in Vail, the museum’s mission is to celebrate Colorado snow sports by sharing stories that educate and inspire others to seek adventure. It’s located on the third level of the Vail Village parking structure, adjacent to the Vail Village Covered Bridge.

Your first stop: the Covered Bridge! This iconic spot is a perfect place for a selfie and a must-see historic landmark in Vail. The Covered Bridge not only marks the official entrance to Vail Village, but its story is as charming as its appearance—capturing the essence of Vail’s alpine character.

For a snack or glass of wine before the show stop at Root & Flower– a modern take on the wine-bar concept, serving more than 50 vinos by the glass, plus a changing menu of New American bites, specialty cocktails and craft beer.
