The GoPro Mountain Games are the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music.
The Vail Kids Adventure Games teams race on Vail Mountain, in Gore Creek and through Vail Village as they compete for top times. Designed exclusively for kids ages 6-14, the Kids Adventure Games is a multi-discipline obstacle adventure race, where kids, in teams of two, compete together on bikes, in water and on foot through a unique 2.5-4 mile adventure course featuring up to 15 man made and natural obstacles.
Whitewater Race Series: The Vail Recreation District partners with Alpine Quest Sports to host the annual Bloch and Chapleau Vail Whitewater Race Series. The races are divided between three categories, including kayak (under 9’6″), two-person raft and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) (under 11′) with different course challenges every week.

Burton US Open – The country’s largest snowboarding competition, featuring over 100 of the world’s best riders as well as free events, concerts and more!
