Live jazz returns to Vail this summer with the 29th Annual Vail Jazz Festival! The festival will run from July 9 – September 4, 2023 with a robust series of world-class jazz performances in the heart of Vail, featuring the very best in hot jazz, bebop, bossa nova, gypsy jazz, big band sounds, and more!This year’s festival includes seven Thursday evening headliner performances under the Jazz tent at Vail Square in Lionshead, followed by the new Howard’s Hangout Club Series FREE at Tavern on the Square. Four FREE Sunday afternoon concerts will take place on the Solaris Plaza in Vail Village, and the festival will culminate with the Vail Jazz Party over Labor Day Weekend featuring a jam-packed lineup with several headliners that join together to play in group performances, multi-artist jam sessions, and inspiring tributes to jazz legends.
