Vail Farmers’ Market & Art Show Announces Virtual Market Beginning June 14th

Vail, Colorado – May 11, 2020 –The Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show will launch a virtual farmers’ market experience and online store to allow customers to purchase produce and locally sourced artisanal products from Farmers’ Market vendors.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to keep the Vail community safer, The Vail Farmers’ Market and Art show will offer curbside pick up and shipping options for shoppers. The online experience will open June 14th for pick up on June 21st. Orders must be placed by June 18th. The online storefront will then open each Monday for pick up the following Sunday.

“The Vail Farmers’ Market is an event the whole community looks forward to each summer. In these challenging times, we worked creatively with the market vendors to develop a virtual concept that supports our local businesses, farmers and community,” said Angela Mueller, Vail Farmers’ Market Executive Director. “Additionally, we are working with the local and state health officials and the town of Vail and we plan to open the physical market in some capacity in July.”

The Vail Farmers’ Market virtual storefront will feature more than 100 vendors including produce, meat, fish, cheese, local artisans, clothing and Meadow Drive Vail Village businesses.

The Vail Farmers’ Market is also working with the Vail Valley Salvation Army to support those in our community who are food insecure. Customers can make donations at checkout.
