Vail, CO – June 22, 2026 – Vail America Days returns this Fourth of July, bringing together the community for a weekend of patriotic celebration, family-friendly activities and live entertain in the heart of the Rockies. The annual event, held July 4, features a full lineup of beloved traditions including the Vail America Days Parade, lively entertainment throughout Vail’s villages, and a variety of activities for all ages.
New for 2026, Vail is introducing a free electronic music show on the Gondola One lawn, adding a fresh vibe to the holiday weekend. Set against the backdrop of Vail Mountain, the DJ concert invites guests and locals alike to gather in Vail Village for an afternoon and evening of live performances in a dynamic outdoor setting. The concert will feature a curated lineup of regional and emerging electronic artists including DJ Drew, Ian Campbell B2B Calvin Cambell, Aspens and DJ Mandy.
Located in the heart of Vail Village, Gondola One lawn offers a unique open-air venue where attendees can gather, dance and enjoy live music surrounded by mountain scenery. The addition of the DJ concert enhances the overall America Days experience, complementing the event’s mix of tradition, culture and outdoor celebration.

“America Days is all about bringing people together to celebrate summer in Vail,” said Jeremy Gross, special events and sponsorship manager for Town of Vail. “We’re excited to introduce a new music experience at Gondola One lawn and welcome an incredible lineup of DJs that will create a vibrant atmosphere for the community.”
The highlight of the weekend is the region’s largest Fourth of July Parade, which starts at 10 a.m., winding through the heart of Vail Village. This year’s parade theme, 250-150-60, 3 milestones, 1 big celebration. We will all come together in Vail to celebrate America’s 250th, Colorado’s 150th and Vail’s 60th birthday. The theme will be brought to life with colorful floats, marching bands, and community spirit, punctuated by flyovers from multiple military aircraft. Guests can also get up close with a Blackhawk helicopter that will be on display from HAATS, the High Altitude Army National Guard (ARNG), at Ford park after the parade.
In addition to the new DJ concert, live entertainment continues throughout the day in both Vail and Lionshead Villages and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Patriotic Concert starts at 2 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. As the sun sets, guests can gather for a dazzling fireworks display at 9:45 p.m. (weather permitting), lighting up the mountain skies in a tribute to America’s birthday. The soundtrack for the fireworks show can be found on KZYR radio.
