3. Art in Public Places & Vail’s Art Walks: The Art in Public Places (AIPP) program is one of many culturally oriented programs in the Vail Valley. The town of Vail’s public art collection includes over 55 works of art with 35 works created by Colorado artists. Vail’s Art in Public Places offers Wednesday Art Walks where guests can enjoy a free one-hour public art tour of Vail on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The tour winds its way through the Village with discussions of the history of the Vail Valley, the founding of Vail Mountain, the master planning of the village and the importance of site-specific art.
4. Visionbox Vail Summer Theatre Institute: This new summer program will offer high school students in the Vail Valley, Colorado and throughout the United States training rooted in graduate-level curriculum, taught by theatre professionals. An actor training studio and play development company in Denver will debut this new summer theater training program this July in Vail.
