Beyond our many restaurants, there are several opportunities to sample and savor Vail’s culinary offerings at gastronomic-centered events this spring, summer, and fall. Vail’s Craft Beer Classic kicks off the season in June, and fall brings the Taste of Vail & Fall Wine Classic in September along with Vail Restaurant Week in October. June through October, explore the Vail & Lionshead Farmers’ Markets. Come hungry and delight your palate with the wonders of incredible foods and libations served in the stunning setting of Vail’s mountains and Villages.

Vail Craft Beer Classic – June 25–26, 2021
Craft beer lovers rejoice! Pairing beer with adventure, the Vail Craft Beer Classic is Colorado’s highest-altitude beer tasting. Join us this summer for two beer-filled days of events – from paired lunches to hikes with a brewer. Of course, you’ll have the chance to sample from hundreds of curated craft beers, ciders, and seltzers (new for 2021!). Skip the same ol’ beer fests and come to Vail for a weekend of outdoor enjoyment at altitude.
Vail Farmers’ Market & Art Show – Sundays late-June through early October
The Vail Farmers’ Market celebrates its’ 20th year in Vail on Meadow Drive! With over 100 tents, including 40 food vendors, take your time exploring the delicious and unique Vail and Colorado specialties.
Vail Fall Wine Classic – August 6 – 8, 2021
The Fall Wine Classic takes place among stunning golden aspen trees and is the wine festival you’ve always dreamed of – without the crowds! To provide a safer experience, the Grand Tasting will come to life this year through multiple 90-minute sessions with a maximum of 175 people each. Enjoy the magic of fall in Vail while choosing tastings from an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, spirits, and craft beers in a unique outdoor setting. Remember to eat something before/after, as food at this event is very limited. Advance tickets are required to join this exclusive event.
Fall Vail Restaurant Week – October 1–11
Vail Restaurant Week is an opportunity to enjoy Vail’s world-class restaurants at an unbelievable price point, with dining specials starting at just $20.21. Participating restaurants showcase the incredible and diverse culinary offerings available throughout Vail, taking dining to new heights… literally! Plus, each bite will be perfectly paired with spectacular autumn views and stunning mountain backdrops. Check back for participating restaurants and make your reservations for this culinary celebration early.
Farm-to-Table Dinners – Dates to be announced
For a truly unique, outdoor, farm-to-table dining experience, join locals and culinary enthusiasts for a chef-crafted dinner sourced from the fields of Colorado farmers, featuring seasonal and local ingredients. Dinners are held rain or shine outside on Willow Bridge Road, so dress accordingly and bring your sense of outdoor culinary adventure! Pre-purchase limited tickets in advance.
Taste of Vail – NEW fall dates to be announced
Typically an April event, The Taste of Vail is shifting to September. This three-day event offers a beautiful fall setting for seminars, tastings, and camaraderie. Signature events include the Grand Tasting, Mountaintop Picnic, Lamb Cook-Off, and Debut of Rosé. Make time for smaller seminars and tastings with world-renowned wineries and chefs.
