Vail’s premier day camp operated by the Vail Recreation District invites children to experience the countless activities found in Vail’s unique alpine setting. Campers tailor their day by choosing from a wide variety of sports, art and science activities, or special outings, including swimming and martial arts.
Young music lovers can hit new high notes, both learning and teaching through the Bravo! Music Festival youth programs. The festival’s instrument petting zoo can be found at the Vail Farmer’s Market throughout the summer, presenting hands-on tutorials of all instruments in the orchestra.
Making true waves for children six and older, the Vail Library’s Splash into Reading series offers animal visits, demonstrations, performers, musicians, and magicians every Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. through August 10th. The Vail Library also offers toddler storytime at 10 a.m. and preschool storytime at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
